My Dream Job

Since I was a kid, in fact, for as long as I can remember I have always played video games. With my older brother we grew up playing and in a way we competed. I've always liked video games because it's an access to other worlds and realities, different characters, stories, rules, etc. And an important aspect in them is the music. This represents to a great extent the atmosphere and feeling that will generate in the player and I am very curious about how music can change or enhance the atmosphere in a given situation.

When I grew up I started to know the world of music through singing and playing instruments until I got to the trumpet and with it I learned everything I know about music both interpretatively and when composing or arranging.

With these two aspects of my life is compossed one of my dream jobs is to be a composer for a famous video game. Games like "Final Fantasy IX", "The last of us" or the "Pokemon" sagas, especially "Pokemon Emerald", have motivated me to learn why some music or provoke certain atmospheres. I hope someday to have the opportunity to be part of something like this and to be able to create something that the listener will remember and make them react.
